Is is possible to change the CABAC level from the Main profile (2.1) to Baseline (1.3)?  I'm trying to encode for the PSP, but it keeps getting the "This video cannot be played" error, most likely caused by the CABAC level.  When I use DropFolders with my usual settings, it works for regular video.  I wanted to move to the Handbrake GUI to rip DVDs, but it doesn't have Max Height and Width, so I'm using VidCoder (Which I have to say, is much nicer).

I've tried using level=13 in the x264 options, but when I look at the log to check to see if the level is 1.3, it's still on 2.1.

I've got these x264 settings and it tells me that the Level is 1.3 in the log:

x264 [info]: profile High, level 1.3

Though I don't think you can set a whole profile just from that one setting. You have to change everything individually. I'd start off with the settings from the iPod profile, or research which settings will give you the baseline profile.

I started with the iPod profile, and it encoded at 1.3, thanks for your help.  I love VidCoder!  Now to see if the PSP plays it.
