Save to command line

Hello !

I use VidCoder and am very satisfied with it.

Am I wrong to guess that since it's under-the-hood power is handbrake, all the settings done in the UI have a handbrake command line counterpart?

In that case, would it be possible to provide the resulting command line, instead of launching the job?

I can well imagine using VidCoder to tweak and tune, and then use my linux box to actually launch handbrake with the command line VidCoder would provide. That would prevent my main WinPC to be hogged at 100% for hours...

Thanks for your attention

Thanks!

VidCoder is powered by HandBrake under the hood but it accesses the libraries directly; it doesn't go through the command line. In order to get the command line I'd need to come up with it from scratch.

Thanks for your quick reply, which I'm afraid is not the one I was hoping for - but is the one I expected (I know you don't launch handbrake.exe).

Do you think this request of mine has some validity and could be a low priority task, and a future-but-not-so-remote feature of VidCoder ?

I'll put it on the backlog.
