Breakup in image when using vidcoder

Dec 17, 2012 at 7:00 AM
Recently I saw that Vidcoder produced a broken up image in the final
encoding job.

I'm surprised others have not noticed this and wondered if there are any
fixes going in for it. The broken up image from just standard settings
in Vidcoder looks like a checkerboard effect rather than a fine
pixellation-- like something isn't working fast enough.

The only thing I could guess at is that an older Core2 processor I have
isn't keeping up and leaving these unusable images.

Please read http://vidcoder.codeplex.com/wikipage?title=Submitting%20bug%20reports . Problems in the image are usually due to issues with the encoding or decoding issue in HandBrake.

Ok so it does not have to do with my mkv from the MakeMkv program.

I thought that might be a problem area.

... Well if the source image is "broken up" then the problem would be with the MKV file. But if the MKV file looks normal and the output after going through HandBrake/VidCoder looks weird, then it's a problem with the HandBrake logic.
