Audio Normalization

Can u add normalization of audio volume? Its realy good thing

I use the HandBrake API to do audio encoding. Ask them about it.

I lurk on he vidcoder discussion most days for news and improvements.

But with regard to normalization, over at videohelp.com I had the
assistance needed to start with an original DVD with
uneven audio and was able to fix it and subsequently fileshare a better
version in a reasonable size file.

The thread is long and I'd say you have to really want to do this rather
than using VLC and setting up the audio
under their compression feature for simple enjoyment without loudness
and softness problems.

You will note that I was surprised that there was not a guide of some
sort written in easy to follow steps by now but apparently there isn't.
And it has been a while since I looked at this but the process once
completed works. You will encounter a number of new but free programs
to tease out the audio, fix the gain and then put it all back together.
This is done in the AVI file format.
