UTF-8 burn in

Hey all, i'm trying to hardsub a few anime episodes, the subtitle format is UTF-8. With handbrake i've always had trouble with UTF-8 subtitles as it wont let me check the "burn in" box, since i usually watch these on an IOS device which doesn't have all that great subtitle support. When i tried encoding something, i could check the box but it still only added the utf8 file instead of hardsubbing the video. will this program work for that since it uses handbrake's source code but just with a new GUI? If not, what can I use?

Thanks!

You can give it a try. I recently changed VidCoder to query the core libraries to see what subtitles are burnable or not. I don't think the official HandBrake GUI has done that integration yet.

Didn't work with this, already tried. Anyone know why it wouldn't? =/
