MKV to MP4 subtitle "Burn In" not working

when converting from an MKV, that has subtitles built in (I have only tried videos with more than one subtitle), to MP4, the "burn in" option will not actually hard code it into the mp4 file. When I open the newly encoded file in VLC, I am able to select the subtitle track but I do not want that...I want it actually burnt in. When doing the same encode using the Handbrake nightly version 6169 win_GUI for 64 bit, it works perfect. Am I doing something wrong?

What version of VidCoder are you using? Are you using the Beta track?

Yes, your newest beta and the one before the .21

Well that should be working. You checked the "burn in" checkbox in the options? Can you post an encode log to pastebin so I can see if the burn in flag made it to the HandBrake API call?

yeah i checked the checkbox for burn in. ok give me until tomorrow so that I can re-encode cuz I deleted the mp4 files, unless it still saves the logs.
