x265 Adding extra options under "More Settings:"

I'm simply looking to add some additional options to a particular encode. For example, adding the options

subme=7 me=3 aq-mode=2 rd=6 weightb

What is the convention I will use to add those options into the single field? I Have found that inputting a single option, say "subme=7" works fine. But when I try to add more successive options, say, "subme=7 me=3 aq-mode=2" I receive the log error "bad argument 'subme=7 me=3'"

I've tried:

--subme=7 --me=3
-subme=7 -me=3
subme=7 me=3
--subme 7 --me 3

etc. etc. etc...

What is the correct way to pass multiple arguments to the encoder??

subme=7:me=dia

"3" would be rejected as a bad argument. You can find the valid values here: http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/MeGUI/x264_Settings

subme=7:me=3:aq-mode=2:rd=6:weightb

Seems to have absolutely worked! Encoding appears to be underway with no errors. THANKS!!!!

Great!

Though, I would check the log. I ran your string through and found these warning messages:

[08:54:39] x264 options: Bad argument me=3
[08:54:39] x264 options: Unknown suboption rd
[08:54:39] x264 options: Unknown suboption weightb

You may want to check the documentation and fix up the parameter names.

Yeah, I noticed that your test log references "x264", whereas I am using the x265/HEVC encoder. I don't understand enough about this to know if the encoding options between x264 & x265 are identical. I would imagine that this is why I'm not seeing any warnings/errors in my logs. =)

Ahh right, my bad.
