Steps to encode MKV(or m4a) with ATMOS

Sorry, this is a duplicate thread, I thik I mistakenly posted it in the "Issues" forum first. Hi, I love this program and use it all the time, thanks for all your hard work BTW. My question is in regards to the new Dolby ATMOS surround mode. I was just wondering if you can tell me the steps I need to take to get the ATMOS track to encode properly in my MKV file?

VidCoder uses the HandBrake engine for the encoding part. Support for input or output codecs is up to the HandBrake authors (or the authors of the libraries they consume).

Apparently all that's necessary is for the Dolby TrueHD track passthrough? Can you tell me how I'd at least do that? I've always been a little unsure when trying to do Dolby TrueHD since, unlike DTS and DTS-HD there isn't a clear choice?

Bump? Any help with Dolby TrueHD track passthrough would be appreciated?

I don't think TrueHD is a supported passthrough option. Only certain codecs are supported by the HandBrake engine.
