Please try to repro this with the latest HandBrake nightly: http://vidcoder.codeplex.com/wikipage?title=Submitting%20bug%20reports

I noted "rc-lookahead=10" different in handbrakes setup, and I've added it to Vidcoder's to try. Is this supported?

Looking at the txt file attachment, I see that Vidcoder's worker thread stopped when it was interrupted by 1 of 5 processes that I've set up to pause Vidcoder:
rarslave
avgscana.exe
WinRAR
VirtualDub
QuickPar

With the new worker thread module, is this pausing still supported?

Handbrake seems immune to all of these programs which I pause Vidcoder for. It's encodes worked fine during occasional running of them. The problem must lie in Vidcoder pausing. I only pause Vidcoder because it competes with the others for CPU cycles. Rarslave is the program that made it fail. Rarslave calls par.exe of your choice, and then WinRAR command line versions. Rarslave is 32 bit. All the others I use are 64 bit. All these components were free, except possibly the WinRAR 64 bit command line. Alter the .INI file to suit your drive letters, etc. I'll do 1 more test of Vidcoder, running this a lot during the encode of 1 file to see if I can kill the worker thread again.

I can't get Vidcoder to crash on demand using the various programs that have crashed it while pausing it.

Auto-pause is still supported. I've been testing it and it still seems to work for me. It looks like HandBrake is sometimes crashing when you try to pause it. Can you try to manually pause the encode and see if that triggers the same problem?

Manual pausing seems to work ok.
