2-pass fails in VC and no audio HB bug

Hi RandomEngy,

At the start of the 2nd pass the encode fails
Worker process exited unexpectedly with code -1073740940. This may be due to a HandBrake engine crash.
Encode failed.
HB 2-pass works.

Also there was a bug in HB that was fixed in changeset 6011 which meant there was no audio in the encoded file when using a H.264 source.

Fixed in 1.5.18 Beta.

Yes, I have not been able to figure out why the crash there is happening. You can use the x86 version for now to avoid it.

You may already know but I went back throught the releases and the 2-pass crash starts with the first beta after the last stable release, 1.5.13 Beta.

Might not be any use but here is the app error from windows event viewer

Despite 2pass working in HB could changes made between the versions used in the two VC versions effect VC? And if so would the HB devs have an idea what it could be?
