Connection to worker failed after 10 retries. Unable to find endpoint.

description

I use MakeMkv to rip BD and VidCoder has worked fine until 2 weeks ago or so. Since then I have tried multiple versions, uninstalling and cleaning registry before new install and continue to get same error message, even movies already completed before by vidcoder in the past show this error message ... I have also tried to use MKVmerge to cleanup any problems in original file that may be there before using vidcoder ... the error that the log states is....

Give the Beta a try. You can install it side-by-side with the stable version. If it's still broken I would guess you have some naughty application sitting on all the named pipe channels... older versions of Garmin software did that.

In either case you can get it working with Options -> Advanced -> Uncheck "Use worker process to encode"

Thanks for the quick reply, that got it going... No Garmin software on here but any other idea or process or location to check.. Would like to figure out what process started this... Other than updates I have installed no new programs I can think of for months.. Maybe an newer version of plex home theater but that is it...

Out of curiosity, what got it going? Did you install the beta or uncheck the worker process option?

The beta didn't fix the issue, had to uncheck the worker process option... Thanks again...
