Preview source chapter by chapter

Hi :)
Thansk for this software, i used it instead of official handbrake gui to avoid "resolution requirement" (i use 1024x576).
Anyway, i use preview source feature, for instance with dvd source but even if i selected only one or some chapters, the source preview always display the entire title, not the selected chapters.
Why ?

The source preview is just to take a convenient peek at the source and see if you've got the right title. The workflow is meant to be Add titles -> tweak range (chapters/seconds) -> Encode. Besides, I don't think VLC or MPC-HC let you preview an arbitrary selected range.

My workflow is actually the following:
Add tittle -> select chapter 1 to 1 -> I open source with MPCHC, navigate to right title and chapter 1, check which clip is playing ->return to vidcoder, change output filename -> add to queue ->

I repeat that for each chapter: 2 to 2 , 3 to 3 ..etc... then i start encoding.

What i would is just to don't have to open MPCHC .. :

Add tittle -> select chapter 1 to 1 ->check which clip is playing with preview of chapter 1 only-> change output filename -> add to queue ->

I have the disc box so after i checked the first chapter i don't have to check following chapters if they are in the right order, and it isn't a big deal to have to open my external player..but it is a little suggestion :)

It's a good thought but I don't think there's a way to tell MPC-HC to play a specific chapter from the command line. Also currently the "source preview" only works with the "all multiple titles" dialog, which doesn't involve chapters. I don't see a way around this problem right now for discs that break episodes into chapters.

Another issue about chapter in my dvd: if chapters doesn't require the same cropping .., does the auto cropping analyse the source file chapter by chapter or only title by title ?
I think it doesn't cause i have always some black bars on my encoded files...., then i tried to first rip my dvd to my HDD chapter by chapter (with dvd decrypter: chapter1.vob, chapter2.vob) .., then i opened each file one by one in vidcoder and on this ways: autocropping is good !

1-Am i right thinking there is an average autocopping for all chapters when they are in the same title ?
2-With dvddecrypter i can't use dvd folder as source.., do you know another way to rip or extract a dvd to one chapter by file ? or a way to use dvddecrypter with dvd folder ?

Auto-cropping works by examining the static preview images you see in the Preview window. It takes these images across the title, and doesn't care about chapter boundaries. If different chapters require different cropping, you'll have to do that manually.
