I've done some reencoding with VidCoder to make stuff smaller without issue... but right now I am trying to rip a TV series from DVD for my media centre and not overly happy with the results despite following tutorials and such.
So I thought hey, find a DVD ripped TV show that has the quality I want, open it with MediaInfo and see what the settings are, then try using those.
I opened a file up, looked and in text mode I noticed a string that looked sorta like what is in the advanced tab on VidCoder at the bottom.
Can I simply copy/paste the string in and it'll work? Way more advanced than what I know... but I noticed when pasted in, nothing changed as far as file size, bitrate etc... not sure if overrides those during ripping or what...
