2.8 still has some issues

description

Here is a few problems I have found with 2.8 Beta
1- Will not let me deselect (enable libDVDNav) under options advanced.
2- Will not close the window after hitting the ok button upon changes made in options.
3- Some options will get saved and some will not.
4- Still will show (no audio) upon first starting VidCoder and after adding the first video/audio file (under the settings/audio tab)..After you select an audio codec everything is fine from then on.
5-And most important 2.8 will not crop video (what is up with that?)
I have encoded thousands of files using VidCoder with all of your Betas up to 2.5 without issue,,I am very thankful for the work you put into it with its user friendly UI for the Handbrake core..I want to see this program updated and usable but I am also a believer if it aint broke don't fix it,so I will pass on 2.8 and go back to 2.5 till the next release...;)~

Completely with you it agree. I made simply. I copied a new kernel (HB.DLL) in an old jacket. All works perfectly.

I have 2.8 also installed, Windows 7 x64. No issues #1, #2, #4 and #5 here. For the issue #4, i haven't checked it because i don't have the time to change all options.
However, i have this issue: https://vidcoder.codeplex.com/workitem/389

1 - It saves the change just fine for me.
2 - The window closes when I hit OK. This was a problem I fixed in 2.7; have not seen it in 2.8.
3 - Examples of ones that save and ones that don't would be helpful.
4 - I've reproduced this and will work on a fix.
5 - I'm not seeing this either. This is another issue I fixed in 2.7.

So are you really sure you're running 2.8 here?
